Toggles for read receipt and location toggles

if I’m blocked on ios 17.5.1 will toggles for read receipts and location toggles disappear on their contact info page? Or do they disappear when contact has iMessage turned off or no internet connection? I iMessaged this contact and was blue bubble no delivery status the red exclamation point saying not delivered. I clicked on message and chose option to send as text message and it has sent as text underneath it..

iPhone 6s, iOS 15

As was explained to you in your earlier post, you will receive no indication that you have been blocked. It is normal for a message that can't be sent as iMessage to give the option to send it as SMS. Things may fail to send as an iMessage if the person has signed out of iMessage or doesn't currently have an active data connections.

Based on what you're describing, the person has signed out of iMessages. That's why you can't see the read receipts option.
