How to locate owner of found AirPods?
i found airpods in my car how can i trace whos they are. it says connected to another apple id

Hold them up to your phone and if the owner provided contact details, they will be viewable there. There is no way for you to trace back the original owner if they had not provided any information. That would be a huge privacy concern and the owner is always in control of their own personal info. Depending on the model, the owner may be able to track them, so they know exactly where they are at. It is usually best to turn them into a neutral location such as a Lost and Found, front desk of a nearby building, or the Police, so they can pick them up.
