Delete the id password of deceased

I lost my son during his national youth service., on march 20th of this year since then we’re unable to get access to his iPhone 13 Pro Max, please how can i go about to remove the Apple ID and iCloud password, am with his death certificate and valid purchase receipt and if there’s any documents required Apple should let me know so I can provide it to prove my son ownership.
