If you downloaded any app that the scammer told you to download, delete it. Who knows what such apps might be designed to do?

Be sure to change any password that you disclosed to the scammer – and any password that the scammer claimed was compromised. Sometimes criminals are lying when they say your passwords are compromised; sometimes not, so why take chances?

There's little point in checking for viruses. A virus is a type of malware that spreads itself to other pieces of code by modifying ("infecting") them with copies of itself. When run, they in turn spread it to others. This is like how viruses like the flu, common cold, and COVID-19 viruses attack your body, which is why we call this type of malware a virus.

My understanding is that iOS is very locked-down (sandboxed). The operating system doesn't permit most apps to modify files containing code for other apps. So an "infected" app couldn't spread its infection.
