SMS messages are a carrier service. You should start by contacting yours.

Yes, it can be a carrier. SMS is a carrier feature. All carriers can have issues. Some iPhone users do not use iMessages. If you're having trouble with SMS, you'd have trouble messaging them too. If you want to resolve the problem, contact your carrier.
If, on the other hand, you'd just rather complain to us, your fellow users, who can change nothing about how either your carrier has things configured or how Apple does business, it's certainly your time to waste.

i spent an hour with my carrier verizon and proved conclusively it was only to samsung android users
