Audio interface not recognized MacBook m2

As I'm sure you are aware, the OMEC Teleport comes with a USB-B to USB-A cable. This device only supports the USB 2.0 standard. In turn, your M2 MacBook Air (MBA) comes with a pair of USB-C ports that support up to either USB 4.0 or Thunderbolt 4.

As such are you using some sort of adapter to be able to connect this device to your MBA? Did you make sure that you are using a 9VDC power adapter with this device?

The fact that this device is not showing up in System Information may indicate that it does not have enough power, the adapter is faulty, or the device itself is faulty.

Just to be sure I'm not leading you astray. Although the supplied cable may be faulty, changing it otherwise will not change the USB standard (2.0) that this devices is designed for.

That in itself, should not prevent it from connecting to your Mac, as your Mac will just "dumb down" the connection to work with it. Having a USB 3.0/4.0 cable still won't make a difference.

Excellent! I'm glad you got it resolved. Thanks for letting me know. I was really starting to scratch my head on what the issue could have been. Looks like a nifty device, I may have to get one and try it with my Fender Strat.
