How to share location from number instead of email?

Hi, I have been fiddling around with location settings and Find My this morning because I have had a persistent problem with family members being unable to see my location, and me being unable to see certain people's as well. Mine seems to be appearing now after I deleted some old devices and reshared location through the Find My app, but I notice that when I go to share with someone, it says "sharing as [my Apple ID email]." How do I change this? Asking because I thjnk the same is happening with my husband's. When I open up Find My, it says "no location found" next to his name. But then when I click devices, I can see his iPhone location.

Change your sharing device

To change the device that you're sharing your location from, open Find My on the device from which you want to share. Select the Me tab, then choose Use this [device] as My Location.

I would also go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and make sure your mobile number is checked.

Do NOT change your email address. This won't solve the problem and it will be a major annoyance.
