Is there a way to fix a permanently "on" underscore button on a MacBook Pro?
1.5 yr old macbook pro. The underscore button doesn't work, or works intermittently, or is permanently "on" until I press delete. What should I do?

Updating Firmware on a AirPods:
A. Create a New User, and See if that Works.
If so, then it is something installed/configured on your current user that should not be. If not, then it is an issue with the entire macOS. So, transfer everything over to the new user, and then trash user. You should be good from there
B. Try an External Keyboard:
Have an external Mac keyboard laying around somewhere? If so, try plugging it is, seeing if you get the same error. This may be the adapter your need: The Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple
C. Try in Safe Mode:
Boot your Mac in Safe Mode, and try then see if you get this issue. Was 30 more seconds, and then boot in Normal Mode.
