Automatically close apps in background

Is there a way to have all apps close automatically when hitting the home button.

My elderly mum finds it confusing when accessing an app that hasn’t been fully closed. As it reopens from the last place she was (which could be weeks ago) it quickly gets confusing. Double clicking and closing everything manually also seems difficult for her to remember how to do.

It would be really helpful if when using an app it always defaults to opening fresh from the homepage aka looks the same everytime.

Appreciate there isn’t a need because of misconception around battery life etc but this is a need because of accessibility.

Thanks. Guided access isn’t what I’m after as I’d like her to have access to all the apps on her phone. It would be helpful if when opening an app it looks exactly the same each time. I’ve tried to show her how to close everything at the end of a session but remembering that is difficult. She often opens an app and it defaults to last viewed page which isn’t the Home page and she quickly gets overwhelmed.

Wish guided access helped but not in this case unfortunately.
