Can't send photos or anything through gmail on iPhone 11

For the last month or so, I have been unable to forward photos or emails through gmail on my iPhone 11. Messaging to iphones or androids works perfectly fine. I have tried every "fix" I can find online and nothing is working.

When I go to send a photo to a gmail address (mine or others), sometimes I can't even put the address in before the email just disappears and returns to the photo; other times, I can put the address in, hit send, and the email just goes "poof." It is not in an outbox or draft or anywhere...it just doesn't work. Thanks.
