How can I protect my iPhone from humidity damage?
Im relatively new to IPhone and Apple in general, but I’ve never had this issue with any other phone I’ve ever owned and I’ve lived in this house for about 6 years. When I got the phone I kept a charger in my truck for CarPlay and had an Apple branded one in my house.. plus an extra that was left behind from my android. Since summer has started it has been extremely difficult to keep my phone charged (in my house) due to sensitivity to what I imagine must be humidity in the phone. As of today I have had to go spend 100 dollars on new cables and a new charging block because somehow, all 3 of my charging cables no longer work on my phone. A short trip to Best Buy to check out my computer (and possibly my phone to see why it doesn’t charge), they of course had zero issue charging it there. So I buy a new charging block and new chargers and out of curiosity tried my two (not old, but not new) Apple charging cables on the new block and wow neither of them work. I’ve never heard of this happening and ironically all 3 have stopped working on the same day. I’m not going to be a very happy Apple’er if I have to buy new Apple cables throughout the short months of summer. I run dehumidifiers in the house so how is this happening?
