iTunes search not working with iPod Classic on Windows 10

Hello, everyone!

I have a 160GB iPod Classic and I use the latest version of iTunes on Windows 10 to manage my music.

Everything is ok with loading music onto my iPod.

The fact is that, when I write some text in the search bar at the top right corner to search for a song and I press enter, the search results regarding the device are no longer shown as it used to be.

I tried to do a soft reset of the iPod, I tried to uninstall-restart the PC-reinstall iTunes but the problem still arises.

I also have some songs saved as a music library and, instead, the search works there. The fact is that most of my music is on the iPod and I need the search to clean up and organise the music right on the device.

I also thought that it could be a problem with the device itself since, again for some time now (but I don't know if the period coincides with that of the problem with the search), the album covers are not displayed even if the mp3s that I upload are tagged correctly.

Could any of you help me get the search working again?
