iMac 3M not connecting to iPhone SE via Bluetooth

My brand new iMac 24 3M does not connect to my iPhone SE via Bluetooth.

In the Bluetooth Menu of the iMac, the iPhone is not displayed (strangely, the Sony-Phone of my neighbor is nicely shown).

And in the Bluetooth Menu of the iPhone SE, the iMac is displayed but cannot be connected.

The iPhone SE is running on iOS 17.5.1.

Both devices are registered via Apple ID-Account.

You can not pair an iPHone with a computer. That has never been a feature of iOS and is not necessary.

Handoff, continuity, air drop, etc. do not require traditional pairing.
