How to show steps on an Apple Watch face?

Just purchased an Apple watch after using a $50 smart watch. However, I was able to see the number of steps, floors climbed, and heart rate on the watch face. I cannot seem to accomplish this on the Apple watch face. I have Googled it and the only answer is from 2016; has to be something newer. Could anyone guide me please?

With steps and floors climbed, you’ll need a third-party app to display that on the Watch face. While the Apple Watch tracks that, Apple prefers using rings as a more accurate depiction of activity. Hence why they only let you show rings on the Watch face, as apposed to rings, steps and floors climbed.

With heart rate, there are 2 heart rate complications on the Apple Watch. The small one is only a shortcut to the heart rate app. The large one shows your current heart rate along with a graph showing your heart rate throughout the day. See the pictures below:

I hope this helps!

An app I know of that counts steps and has a complication that you can add to the face of your watch is StepsApp.
