How can I edit multiple duplicate albums in my playlist on iPhone?

Unwanted Music Albums When I attempt to add my music playlist from my Mac to my iPhone, the system adds extra albums which are not in the playlist. Twice I have completely wiped the playlist from my iPhone and from my Mac music and recreated the playlist. When I attempt to add the playlist to my phone it still adds extra albums. It enlarges the playlist from 5K+ songs to 8K+ songs which is a sizable chunk. How can I stop this?
