Apple TV app won’t load

When I open the Apple TV app that is preloaded on my tv, it just sits there and spins. App works on my IPad but not my tv.

Try unplugging the TV set from it's power source for 2-3 minutes, then restart it. Then test to ensure it's firmware is up-to-date and finally install the Apple TV app.
