I figured out how to restore a backup on a phone but however it wants me too restart my whole phone meaning i will lose my data to obtain my old one. My question is there a way to download a backup from a broken phone without having to lose my new data in it process.
No. Restoring a backup requires the iPhone be erased so it can be used to set it up. So all data on it will be removed.
There is no direct way of getting data from a backup.
There are some 3rd party apps that claim to access iCloud backups and backups on a computer and can extract data from them.
