I am unable to add my Music into iMovie
I can't add my music anymore into imovie, it keeps saying the files are protected even though I have paid for them.

Are you trying to add files that were downloaded from Apple Music? It seems that they are DRM protected and cannot be used in iMovie. Apple Music is primarily designed for streaming.
Maybe you can try downloading these songs from iTunes to use them in iMovie. Attempting to download them from Apple Music will result in DRM protection.
