Why is my iPad not allowing me to enter a new passcode after setting up face recognition?
I set up face recognition but the device won’t let me enter a new passcode.

How are you trying to setup a new passcode?
What happens when you go to Settings ➜ Face ID & Passcode ➜ Change Passcode?
Note: You will need the current passcode to access the "Face ID & Passcode" settings.
