Water spilled on MacBook screen

I was cleaning the screen of my macbook air m1 2020 with a liquid and I have already did it a couple of times but this time I don't know how liquid got into the screen and but the screen was working fine for sometime but later when I turned it back on the screen turned into black suddenly.

I want to ask will the screen be replaced or it can be repaired like just pulling the water out can fix it by drying it.

How much will be the cost to repair it if it can be.

How much will be the cost to change the screen if it needs to.

Please help

The entire Display Assembly will need to be replaced which is extremely expensive. You will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to provide you with a repair estimate.

In the future when using any liquids, just make sure the cloth is just very lightly dampened. Another possibility is not liquid damage, but that you twisted the display during cleaning or possibly damaged the display cable located at the bottom of the display (yes, Apple routes the display cable externally covering it with another piece of plastic). I found it is easiest to clean the display by opening the laptop and placing the back of the open display on a flat surface with the palmrest & keyboard pointing up in the air. This allows you to wipe the display without it moving or twisting....you do need to hold the palmrest/keyboard to keep it steady.
