Since last 7-8 days my iphone is not playing Linkedin videos. Wifi is perfect. Have logged out and logged in again. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Restarted the phone. But nothing works.
Videos are playing perfectly on desktop and android phone for my login (so its not a Linkedin issue). The ad videos are playing perfectly on iphone but videos posted by people doesnt play. It just goes into endless buffering.

I did all of these things and LinkedIn came back with laundry list of things.
The one that fixed was clearing the cache which is alternative method of uninstalling the app.
IPhone settings> general> iPhone storage > offload app. Then I reinstalled the app.
Previously I had “uninstalled” or deleted the app off screen which did not fix it.
I hope this helps some people.

I reached out to LinkedIn Tech Support and here is the answer they gave me
"a fix is being implemented and will be included in the next iOS update, version
9.29.9243.
Please note that this update should resolve the video which issue you have been experiencing"
Thank you so much, this has been bugging me for weeks and I even formatted my iPhone which didn’t fix it.
this simple action fixed the issue
Go to IPhone settings> general> iPhone storage > show all> LinkedIn> offload app. Then I reinstalled the app.
I’ve just updated the app and the problem has been resolved! Try the latest version 9.1.385 released yesterday (July 22nd)
“Offloading” the app worked for me as well.
Offloading LinkedIn worked for me as well.
If any of you who are having an issue with LinkedIn have virus protection software OR use a VPN, dump them. They can cause issues like this and are completely unnecessary for iPhone.
Offloading app is helpful.
i have offloaded the app & then reinstalled it’s working fine now, videos are playing!!!
I just checked if videos aren't playing in LinkedIn on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.5.1 and they play just fine.

I experienced similar issue too, i just offloaded the app right now and reinstalled it, my videos are playing now.
This week’s LinkedIn App update fixed the problem.
I tried offloading the app and it didn't work either, still just buffering non-stop.. seems like i have to wait for the LinkedIn app to be updated.
I have the same problem. LinkedIn works fine in Safari, but the app stopped playing all videos. I get a clear image with a play button, but hitting play brings up a blurry image that never plays. I just get a spinning wait symbol. I have the latest iPhone, latest OS, have deleted and reinstalled the app, and rebooted the iPhone.

As I said, videos play just fine on my iPhone in the LinkedIn app. Apple doesn't own LinkedIn OR their app.
