I have a late 2018 Mac mini that has WiFi but no Ethernet. It shows up in the System Report, but nothing under Network in System Settings. When I try to add Ethernet as a new service, these are the only things available. I do have the Ethernet cable plugged in and it works on another Mac.
Any ideas?

Do you have any AV-ware or a VPN installed on the 2018 Mac mini..?
Can you create an Ethernet Service in Safe Mode, see > Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Ah' sorry, I didn't realize that was an image of the Ethernet Hardware.
Reinstall Sonoma over the top of the current install. If that doesn't fix, then I suspect that the physical port is fried.

What does System Report show for the Ethernet Hardware..?
Go to Apple > About This Mac > System Report... > select Ethernet in the Hardware section.
This is a screenshot of the Ethernet Hardware for my 2018 Mac mini.
Once my Mac mini 2018 lost Ethernet but after resetting PRAM and SMC it worked again.
The ethernet adapter arrived! Plugged it in and immediately had an ethernet connection!

No AV-ware or VPN. I tried Safe Mode but still no go. I just ordered a USB-C Ethernet Adapter. Hopefully that takes care of the problem!
The odd thing is that I ran the built-in hardware test immediately after I bought it and it passed everything.
