iPhone 13 Re-orients the Videos I Take

You can easily rotate the video after it was recorded by editing in the Photos app, tapping crop, then tapping the rotate icon.

So easy.

There are two important things:

1. You need to tap the crop icon to activate the rotate icon.
2. If you are somehow unable to do what I had suggested, then reply back with a screenshot.

Avoiding Auto-Screen Orientation:

Tap on the "Portrait Orientation Lock" button to disable it.

1. Rotate: the screen on your iPhone or iPod touch
2. Tap: the Portrait Orientation Lock*** button to make sure that it's off.
3. Turn: your iPhone sideways.

Yes. YouTube videos will not rotate.

As for Apps: It may or may not stop this --it depends on the app. Some apps do not permit screen rotation.

Portrait Orientation Lock Button?:

Found in the Control Center: Holder you finger down on your screen, and then swipe your finger down from the top-right corner of your screen to the bottom corner of your screen. Then tap the Portrait-Orientation Lock button (It is what I have outlined in my screenshot --about half-way down from middle far left:
