The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e All-In-One Printer is listed as a supported model in About AirPrint - Apple Support. This means that it should work with an iPad, without an additional app, provided that the printer and the iPad are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

First of all, you may want to try a full power cycle sequence: Power off the router, the printer, the iPad, and all other

devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPad and all other devices/computers. Any change?

AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections. If necessary, and since the 8135e model has Ethernet in addition to Wi-Fi, you could also carry out a test with the printer wired by Ethernet to one of the LAN ports of the Wi-Fi router (instead of using a wireless printer connection).

The printer manufacturer may require the use of a special app for matters related to an ink subscription, if applicable.
