How to Type Tamil & Telugu fonts In Final Cut Pro Apple Telugu MN & Tamil MN ?

What is your current Input Source? US?

I known knothing about Tamil or other Asian languages, but by using "Tamil - Transliteration" input source I can see Tamil characters, in TextEdit as well as in FCP.

Computers don't change languages by changing fonts. You have to change the keyboard layout/input source, then the font takes care of itself.

Pasting works fine. I believe the OP problem was about typing directly at the keyboard.

Tom did explain the misconception involved: changing the font is not enough to make the keyboard type Tamil characters, one has to change to an appropriate Input Source.

Pressing A on a US keyboard still types a latin character "a".

System Settings > Keyboard > Input Source. Click the Plus symbol at the bottom left of that window. There you can add the language you want to type in. I use Cherokee often. It should put a menu item up in the top right of your screen where you can then switch between languages. Used to be I could install a Cherokee font and that was enough, but macOS has changed a lot since then (about 10 years ago), and now you control it with the Keyboard Input.

I pasted the text from Google Translate into the FCP title. My MacBookPro is only set to Japanese, but I can input without any problems.
