May I get iOS 17 update for my iPhone 7

You probably can't, but read one...

There are different ways to ensure the highest iOS that your device will support is installed on your device. When updating, your device will update to the highest version currently available that it will support, or it will just say it is up to date (and can't go any higher) and won't install anything. If you want to run a higher system version than your current device is capable of running, you need to buy a newer device.

iPhones 6S through 7, and SE(gen. 1), will only update to iOS 15.8.2

There are no iOS 16 or 17 updates for the iPhone 7, and there will be no iOS 18 update for the iPhone 7. For the iPhone 7, iOS 15 is the end of the line.

iPhone 7 cannot run iOS 17.

If you want to run iOS 17, you need one of the phones listed in this Apple Support document:

An iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, or iPhone SE 1 isn't capable of 16 or above; they require an A11 or better CPU.
