Cant switch from POP to IMAP
I have a new email account. When I add the account to my devices ( iMac, iPhone, or iPad ) it only does POP. I can't switch to IMAP.
I worked with the provider tech to set the right port settings but it still says the name and password can't be verified. The service provider says it's an issue with the Apple devices and not with them. All they can do is give me the right settings. I've deleted the account, restarted the mac and tried multiple times. Any ideas? I appreciate your attention.
