Final Cut - Text moves when exported

I have created a video which has required subtitles on all images.

When making these subtitles I have moved the text to it is visible around the images on screen.

However, when I export this, the text is moving position back to it's original placing.

Please see screen shots below;

The Final Cut session is rendered and ready to export. Is there a step I am missing?

I have not had this issue using other text boxes in other videos.

Thank you all for your help.

The problem is: this title's text wasn't designed to be resized, wasn't designed for any other aspect ratios than 2.0: 1, 4:3 and 16:9.

Even if you're using any one of those aspect ratios, the sizes of the text paragraph margins are ***rigged*** to specific sizes. Although Final Cut will allow for editing those margins in the Viewer - rigged or not - when you export the title, those Rigged margins are reset (depending on the snapshot) upon rendering.

By the way - this title also breaks in FCPX 10.4.10...

No, this a textual representation of your project. It contains only the structure, not the actual media.

You create one with

File->Export XML...

and this produces a file with extension .fcpxml or .fcpxmld

depending on version.

You could zip this file, send it to yourself using wetransfer and then post the link you receive here.

(it will probably be deleted soon after, be we'd still get the link in the e-mail notification)

But perhaps you could start be showing more of the timeline. It seems that you have the presenter clip,

then the title below and another one that is not visible in the screenshot.

Thank you.

I downloaded your files and tested in both 10.8 and 10.7.1.

In both cases, the output was different from what is seen in FCP.

AFAICT, the behavior was identical in both versions - except that for me it appears that the exported file was the correct one...

Here is what I see in FCP - text is cut off on the left:

And here is what I get from exporting the current frame - text now appears in its entirety.
