Orange light Indicator blinking in magsafe

Facing problem to charge my macbook pro m1pro….

Orange light is continuous blinking & not charging..:

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.5

Try the troubleshooting steps in this Apple article:

If your MagSafe cable or power adapter isn't working - Apple Support


Try a DFU firmware Revive.


If those steps do not work, then you can use a USB-C charging cable to charge the laptop.


You can try running the Apple Diagnostics to see if a hardware issue is detected.


One of my organization's M-series laptops recently had the blinking orange Magsafe LED and the problem was a bad Logic Board that had to be replaced. FYI, when Apple replaced a Logic Board on a USB-C Mac, they also need to replace the TouchID button as well since they are paired with the Logic Board so that will increase the cost of the repair.
