Ok, that unfortunately did not provide any extra information.
I did a little searching and stumbled across a few forum posts on other sites where this has been discussed. It seems one user discovered the issue is easily reproducible when they press keys or the trackpad as the system is being put to sleep (not sure if it includes to wake the laptop from sleep). From those multiple posts it appears only having the Display Assembly replaced (will also include a Lid Angle Sensor since they are unnecessarily paired) with a hardware repair will be necessary to fix the problem at this time. It is hard to say if a later firmware update could possibly resolve the problem.
Here is a post which provides some interesting details:
Here is another one where the user schade96 (first post & currently last post) confirms the problem is resolved by a Display Assembly replacement:
Here is a post suggesting this issue has been around usually with the M2 MBAir that started out as a black screen issue, but now has the Kernel Panic listed in your post suggesting a change in behavior with different macOS updates. Hard to say if Apple is aware of the issue and is slowing working on a fix.

genius bar replace my Display and lid angle sensor fixed the problem (they replaced my logic board and touch id before, but the problem still exists)
you can trigger the problem by lock screen and press esc key several times
The Kernel Panic is due to an issue with the Display Co-Processor. Post the complete Kernel Panic log here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper on the forum editing toolbar. Kernel Panic logs are located in "/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports" with a file name beginning with kernel.
