USA purchased Apple Watch S9 cellular functionality in South Africa

I am wanting to buy an Apple Watch Series 9 wIth GPS and cellular from the USA, for use in South Africa. Will the cellular functionality work in South Africa? I’ve found a chart at the link below which I’m struggling to understand, it seems as though USA & SA watches work on the same frequency.

There are a few frequencies in the list of the Band Support missing, so only your carrier in South Africa, MTN or Vodacom, might be able to tell you, if all LTE features are supported.

Due to the different hardware, the Apple Watch is supposed to be used in the country of purchase.

And, the warranty will also be restricted to this country of purchase. In case of a warranty claim, you will have to send the device back, since Apple does not ship internationally.
