Personal Hotspot not working after deleting Holafly eSIM

I installed an eSIM from Holafly for vacation. I deleted it when I came back home and now I have some odd issues with the way mobile data options and information are being displayed on my iPhone 14 pro max.

For example:

  • I am connected to mobile data but it is not displaying that connection at the top of the screen.
  • The personal hotspot option has completed disappeared (BIGGEST PROBLEM), in control center and in settings.
  • The mobile service menu has completely changed
  • My sim is now marked “business”, not primary and I can’t change it's label.

(I've included some screenshots to show what's going on)


Any ideas for a fix would be welcome. I have already reset the network settings, latest iOS is installed, I use the same carrier plan as before which allows hotspots, all the APN names are as they were before (just like befire the trip and before the reset), I have checked and tried out EVERYTHING for hours.


Please help.
