Hi, I can’t use AirTag with my iPhone SE 2nd Gen.
I have two factor authentication on, but iPhone tells me that it’s not possible to configure two factor authentication with my id apple. 😳
With my iPad (Fifth gen), AirTag works regularly.
Any suggestions?

Hi Tesserax, yesterday I tried to log out and then re-log in my apple id on my iPhone, and now I see my AirTag on my iPhone in Find my app.
Don't know what the issue was, but now it seems to work.

Based on your original post, the issue may be with 2FA with your Apple ID on your iPhone.
I suggest that you log out of your Apple ID on this phone, and then, log back it. You shouldn't have an issue with 2FA. If you do, you will need to contact Apple Support directly to get this resolved.
What's strange is, if you are having a 2FA issue and use the same Apple ID on both devices, then both devices would have this issue. Why only your iPhone, I'm not sure at this moment.
Do you use the same Apple ID with both your iPhone & iPad. Did you initially setup this AirTag with the iPhone or the iPad?
Yes, I use the same Apple ID on all my devices.
I initially wanted to setup AirTag with iPhone, but I had this problem.
So I tried with iPad and all worked perfectly. Obviously I prefer to have it with iPhone, that I have always in my pocket.
in the afternoon I will try again.
in the past I had some problems with CarPlay too, with this iPhone. There’s something wrong with it..😒
I tried initially with iPhone and it didn't work. Then I tried with iPad and it worked.
Now I'm at work, in the evening I will try to log out on my iPhone e log back. I'll keep you in touch.
