I'm trying to connect an Opticon scanner to my macbook but don't have a USB port. How do I connect to the 2 devices?

Your scanner probably has a USB A connector while your Mac has a USB C port. You can purchase dongles that convert between USB A to USB C. There are also dongles that convert USB C to USB A so be sure you are getting the right ones. Pictures help! You can find them at Amazon among other retailers.
