Is my iPhone supposed to airplay everything I watch to the random masses who just might happen to be near me?

AirPlay being interrupted by a second IPhone in the room When I airplay from my iPhone 13 to my TCL TV with Roku TV, it generally works fine. However, the last several times i have done this, the stream gets disconnected when another person in the room looks at their iPhone. I can’t imagine why this would be an issue but it is unmistakably the cause of the disconnection. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, were you able to fix it?

I cant seem to turn it off. If I do it just turns right back on again. Thanks for any help.
