iOS 17.6 Battery Draining Fast

Apple, please fix this, I updated the new iOS software for 4 days ago and I make sure before I go to bed my phone is charged at 100%. I wake up and it’s at like 50%. What’s going on here? please fix this his problem.

Am regretting the update 17.6 causing my iPhone 15 overheating for the first time ever a notification popped out mentioning it! Battery draining fast. Ever wondered if this update being tested before rolling out?! It’s quite annoying and upsetting users. Apple you gotta do something about it fast.

I Think every update on an iphone ios or mac osx must be an update with option to let work either the ios or the mac osx better and not worser . What are the meaning to update when i need to restore to an older version to work better ????

If it does not work better than don't make an new version .

Have the Developer from Apple tested the updates or updates for to have a new update ???

One shouldn’t assume that everyone has a computer near them when they apply a security update. They applied the security update because Apple considered it to be necessary to protect their device. By no means did the customer expect their battery to drain so fast. Especially on devices that they paid a lot of money for to avoid this very Scenario. Blaming the customer is never right

I totally agreed! Since I have updated to iOS 17.6.1 my battery drains very quickly than it used to before! I would normally charge my phone two days time a day now i gotta charge it 3-4 times a day even when I’m not using my phone the battery would go down. APPLE please fix this issue asap!! Like literally make it a priority.

my Battery life was crazy good until I updated to 17.6.1. Since then my phone gets really hot and battery drains excessively. Even on low power mode it drains fast. If next update don't fix this I'm going to go back to Samsung when S25 ultra comes out

I think it’s the update, ever since my I phone 13 is over heated and it’s draining the battery. If apple doesn’t do something about it, next buy wouldn’t be apple anymore!! This is scamming people with their updates. I’m not buying another battery because they say so!! I ‘m buying another phone but it ain’t gonna be an apple!!

In my case i changed my battery to a brand new a few months ago.

therefore i had a full day of battery without any problem.

My roommate did not update hus phone. since iOS 17.6 is on mine, the battery drain is significant. I need to recharge few hours before going to bed.

The first problem with the iPhone in 10 years of use. 14 plus. I'm an idiot because I upgraded the software.

I will try to fix this with new software if not I will buy 16 pros and never upgrade any software, I will use default as long as I can.

Well Im on iOS 17.6.1 and have the same problem. Battery draining fast. In messenger maybe keyboard is a litlle bit laggy and slow. Hotter device sometimes. Sometimes even when a typing in messenger is my text overlap. Too much bugs.

After ios 17.6.1 battery draining faster and battery health reduced by 2 percent within week even precautions followed and also there are 2 dots apparently visible in the camera with 3x zoom even clearing lens doesn’t correct it .. hope they come up with solution

I am having the same problem with 17.6.1

Ridiculously fast battery consumption and am hitting critical levels within half a day and sometimes I am not even using it. Turned off lots of background, not sure what to do.

I've reset the phone no difference

after updating ios 17.6 , battery drain is too much , within few minutes its down drastically in iphone 14. Same problem with me

The same here with Battery Drain after the iOS 17.6 update. Drains 40% by 10am > Apple Please fix !
