iOS 17.6 Battery Draining Fast

Having the same issue with my ipad air. I got my new iPad a week ago then suddenly after updating I’ve noticed the battery is draining too quickly even not in used for a day from 70% down to 40%!!!

Why do you consider to spam this unhelpful nonsense across every post?

After updating to 17.6 am no longer getting emails and phone takes longer to load

I am experiencing the same thing on my iPhone 12. Can’t go a full day without charging after a few hours of use. So frustrating when updates are suppose to help. Disappointed!

I have an 11 and it acts like its not even charging after the latest update. I'm not sure what to do at this point. The battery percentage does not even change.

same for me with my IPhone 15 pro. I’ve just installed IOS 17.6.1 but it doesn’t seems to be fixed…Please apple do somethings. My phone must be charged during the day…

I know that this happens after big updates, but this was a minor update and a week after the update I still have to charge the phone in the afternoon to last until the evening. 17.6.1. didn't help.

phone becomes hot at the side or camera and battery are depleting drastically.

For the moment I found a little solution: disable « always on » screen. It’s avoiding battery drain for nothing…

IOS17.6.1 is causing battery to drain so much faster. Is Apple going to address this?

After ios 17.6.1 update, airdrop on iphone 11 pro has some issues. Can't send long videos via airdrop.
