Add line numbering in pages

I would like to know if there are any users who can show or tell me if possible to add line numbering in pages, in left margin, OUTSIDE of layout?

Thanks!

Pages is not an MS Word clone and therefore, has no built-in provision for adding line numbers anywhere in your document. Use MS Word or the free LibreOffice for this task, but note that importing that .docx into Pages will remove the unsupported line numbering upon translation of the .docx into .pages format.

I have purposely excluded the hacks we have mentioned in the past to put line numbers in a Pages document as they require considerable finesse and are non-portable in other export formats than PDF.
