Update 10.6 on my apple watch is not working

I have tried every method of resetting that is available to me. I have reset my watch several times. My iPhone finally updated but I can't connect to my watch. When I try to start paring, it pairs but needs an update to continue. When I go to update, it takes 45 minutes before it finally says that it can't work because the watch isn't connected to the internet. But my phone is connected. The watch is also on the charger.

Things I have done to resolve this:

1) I have restarted my phone and my watch.

2) I reset my watch to factory settings, which seems to have unpaired it and makes it not able to connect to wifi because of that.

3) I tried to skip the update but it forces a reset of my phone if I try to just pair without updating the watch.

4) I have tried to keep it on the charger the whole time, both my phone and my watch. They have been right next to each other.

5) I have more than enough space on my watch. Well over the 1.5 gigs needed.

6) I have tried to not touch anything on either the watch or the phone when I get it to finally update but the update tells me it's going to take hours. I have top tier internet with a great modem. It shouldn't take this long.

7) Each time after waiting nearly an hour the update FAILS and says it cannot connect. I have tried to come at it from a few angles but it doesn't ever seem to work.

Extremely frustrating. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Same issue this morning. Update wants your watch on charger to do update but asks for passcode which requires you to take it off the charger, then the phone update won’t verify and tells you you’re not on the internet which was false. Will await the inevitable 10.6.1 version (iPhone 13 btw)

Yes, it is working. Now what needs to also work is patience. The fix may be in a future release of an update. Part of resolving an issue is also persistence. Get your support ticket number and once a week call support about it and politely ask that your inquiry be escalated. You may eventually get into engineering and be able to get some kind of timeline. Continuing to post here will not raise the issue with Apple. Only official support channels will do that.
