Apple Mail confusing

Can anyone please explain what is happening and how to resolve it. I have Apple Mail set up to view according to DATE. To my simple way of thinking this should display all emails chronologically. Looking at my SENT emails this morning the first six dates from the top were:

3 days ago

4 days ago

this morning

Date received has disappeared in Message list in Mail My Mail list always showed the hour received if today, Yesterday if received yesterday, and the date if earlier. That's all gone now!

AppleMail problem Can anyone tell me how one of my accounts "Sent" files can show indications of something in the file but does not show anything when selected. See attached. I checked my WebMail account and nothing shows there so it is definitely on my AppleMail App. I tried 'Erase Deleted Items' and nothing happened. I have also turned off the computer and it is still there after boot. Sparkgapper

Apple Mail- I can "sort" my iCloud emails by date, but can't get the date to display(Ventura 13.4) Using Mac Book Pro (Ventura 13.4) I save my emails in different folders on my iCloud account. When I open the folder to view saved emails, the date column does not appear. ( I have opted for "Show date and time" in VIEW; and the emails are sorted by date, but no date or time shows.) See screen shot below
