Enabling developer mode on iPhone

In order to enable developer mode on my new iPhone 15 (latest update) I had to use third-party software. Is there an Apple only way of enabling the capability to enable developer mode. Once the button was enabled, it was easy, but slightly tedious, to put my iPhone into developing mode. The Apple documentation does not address this issue, as they show me my phone as it is now, not before the third party tool.

(Since relatively recent, you cannot even see the developer mode button in settings on an iPhone.)

Developer Mode missing in Privacy settings on iPhone 13 I have iOS 26.3 downloaded on my iPhone 13. When I go to privacy in settings and I scroll to the bottom there is no developer mode shown. Why is this? Should I not be able to toggle developer mode ?
