Apple TV switches off by itself and doesn't switch back on

I have been having this issue with my Apple TV for about a year now.

It normally happens when I switch my Apple TV on and go into an app to start watching or listening to music.

What happens is that I switch on the Apple TV and it will switch off by itself, and doesn't switch back on. On other occasions I will go into an app to start watching, and it will open the app and display a round circling ring then switches off the Apple TV.

For it to work again, I have to unplug the Apple TV, but most times, it happens again. Normally by the 8th time, the Apple TV stays on and I can use it.

I have tried to reset the device to factory setting with no success.
