I have a m2 macbook air trying to train some simple neural networks

I have a m2 macbook air, the middle of the keyboard/aluminuim warm up while training a machine learning model, is it advisable to leave my macbook in that state of high processing load for overnight training sessions?

MacBook Air, macOS 14.5

Your Mac will shut down if the thermals exceed design specs and I would only run the neural network learning sessions when it is physically possible to monitor the M2 MacBook Air.
