Pairing Bluetooth Bose speakers to iPad iPhone

I have great difficulty pairing my Bose speakers to either my iPad or iPhone. Each time I want to play music invariably I spend several minutes trying to connect, eventually it happens but so tiresome. Bose Flex S…. Is the correct Bluetooth connection for each speaker but often it will connect to Le-Bose and I have to manually tell it to ‘forget this device’ only for it to reconnect!

The other problem is when moving between different Spotify songs the Bluetooth will drop out, it only seems to like a continuous playlist.

I use the recommended Bose app and it will connect after many attempts. I use the app so I can play stereo mode with 2 speakers. So I first connect to Bluetooth on my device and then use the Bose app to set up the stereo mode.

It might be helpful to disable Le-Bose from appearing as a Bluetooth connection option on the device?

If someone is familiar with this problem and knows the correct process to simply pair, please help!
