Double Underline Accounting in Numbers

I can’t seem to find a way to add a double underline to a row of cells to show standard double underline accounting. Every help page I find talks about adjusting the font, but this leaves gaps between columns and looks messy and unprofessional.

I’m afraid that there is no solution and I’m just going to have to go back to excel, or perhaps sheets offers the function.
