convert QT.mov to mp4

in past forums it was said that there's no reason to convert .mov to mp4.

Well, Canva requires this conversion. So how can it be converted? I tried loading the file into imovie and still have had no luck. The file I'm trying to upload to canva is 130 MB.

Others in my group are also having a problem uploading quicktime files into Canva, so they're seeking alternative means of recording videos. Is apple going to continue supporting quick time? or are they transitioning to something else?
