iPhone loses connection with Epson printer

My wife is having trouble printing from her iPhone 13 to our Epson XP-970 printer. We have tried multiple different connection methods including printer and phone on same wifi connection, a direct wifi connection to printer, and a corded usb connection to phone. Every way, the printer will print half of the photo and her phone will display lost connection with the printer, then stop the print job. From my iPhone 13, it works flawlessly, every time, in all

the above connection methods. Is there possibly a setting that’s throwing off her phone, or what can be causing this?
