How can I resize clips independently in Final Cut Pro?

Using a iPad Air with Final Cut Pro. Trying to resize two adjacent clips to different sizes. Seems that when I resize one clip it resizes them all. I’ve fooled around with various tools in the inspector, but the result seems always to be the same. I’m trying to resize these clips to better focus poor camera work which differs from clip to clip. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the reply FilRmonic - yes trying to reframe one of the two clips. I’ve found that by going into the Inspector, I can accomplish this by selecting one of the clips, setting the frame selector to view that clip and manually transform the scale settings. I had hoped that by pinching and/or spreading the clip manually I’d be able to get a more pleasing and dynamic setting. However this manual process changes the relative size of all clips in the timeline.

Frankly, I don’t know what most of the other settings in the Inspector section do (I.e. scale to fit and scale to fill) but one step at a time I guess. I’ve attached 2 screenshots to show you what I’m doing.

Thanks for your interest,

DaDane
