Persistent Heating Issue with iPad Air M2 13-inch While Using GoodNotes or Notes App
Dear Apple Support Team,
I am writing to bring to your attention a persistent issue I have been experiencing with my iPad Air M2 13-inch, specifically related to overheating. Despite updating to the latest iPadOS 17.6, the problem remains unresolved.
Issue Description:
1. Device: iPad Air M2 13-inch
2. Software: Latest iPadOS 17.6
3. Problem: Significant heating around front camera while using GoodNotes or the built-in Notes app
4. Accessories: Apple Pencil Pro
Usage Details:
• Primary Use: Note-taking using GoodNotes and the Notes app.
• Secondary Use: Browsing the internet for reading and research purposes.
• No Graphic-Intensive Apps: I do not use any graphic-intensive applications or games.
Despite the M2 chip’s reputed high performance, my device heats up considerably during these relatively simple tasks. This overheating issue is ironic and disappointing, given the high expectations from Apple’s advanced hardware. The heating is not only uncomfortable but also raises concerns about potential long-term damage to the device.
As a student, I rely heavily on my iPad for note-taking and studying. The overheating issue disrupts my studies and diminishes the user experience significantly.
Request:
I kindly request Apple to look into this issue urgently and provide a solution. It is crucial for me to have a reliable device for my academic needs. The current situation is not sustainable and hampers my productivity.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt resolution.
