I tried to completely restart my Mac but after I did the step that erases everything a pop up comes and tells me to put in my Apple ID I did but it says it is error 440 something like that I tried multiple times with the right Apple ID and password but still says that after verification code. Please help!

Maybe this will help. I was trying to start up an old iPhone that had been in a drawer for a long time, and when I turned it on, it asked for my Apple ID and password, but wouldn't accept them. Meanwhile, Apple was sending confirmation codes to my other devices. What worked (I eventually found out) was to enter the password followed immediately - same line, no spaces - with the confirmation code of the moment.
So, do you have an iPhone or iPad or other Apple device? If you do, and you're signed in with the same Apple ID, the codes should show up. Here are some ways to see what devices are signed in with your ID:
Check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in - Apple Support
If that doesn't work... write back and maybe someone here can solve the problem...
